MIDI CC Switch In/Out

Hello Everyone

I have a very big problem
I have a switch here that I can receive midi cc
the problem is that I want to send it over midi cc
so I did as everyone says, the research on all
the forum (I look for the word midi - 360 pages).
I look at 360 pages and not find a single topic or one
speaks of a midi switch out.
anyway - what I wanna do is send a midi cc with the switch and

block the midi cc which it receives when sending of the same midi

cc. In other words, a switch that can either send or receive the same

midi cc but not both at once. ( I hope this is well explained ).
so if there is someone who could help me on the subject, it would

be well apreciated.

hey welcome to SM land
your "problem" is fortunately an easy task. i made a example osm that you can study.
it works simple: if you drag/click the switch with your mouse, then the midi output gets activated.
if a MIDI message is received from outside, the output switches to OFF.

The solution and prevent the midi loopback,
taking trig directly from the primitive "LDown Mouse", and the trig from the preset manager if you use either.

The number of Midi CC, the same of the midi cc input.

strange , on my pc receive worked in the last osm but send doesn´t ...
i forgot a link to the midi cc nr. and fixed it. for receiving: perpaps you have to get
2 input changes for the switch to react. if, eg, the switch is turned on manually, it will not turn of
at the next received message if this is a "turn on" message. only on received "off" it will switch off.

in your example picture there is midi cc nr 0 set for the tester (at bottom) -
and cc nr. 0 is set for receive- that´s why.
but why the hell is the status byte (176) now set for cc value out?
did you change that? just out of interests

yes thats possible. just replace the cc creator in your schematic with a note event primitive, for example.
the note event primitive accepts only int input so you have to convert the Note Name (e.g. C''#5)
to a MIDI note Pitch (e.g. 60).

quite what you wanted to tell me. I realized that I had to generate a note but not a controller.
Your controller Switch helps me a lot. I have come to this. It works well but sometimes they do not send or receive
the input message. Whyyyyyyyyy ?

P.S. I feel that I am close to goal !
