Noob Question about midi to poly prim...

Postby pawnone on Mon Nov 07, 2011 3:46 am

Ok its been a while but I have been playing with the software again, and I have been exploring the making a sound tutorial. I have made a few basic versions of this and the new issue I have been struggling with is velocity and how to hook it up. I tried to hooking an amp to the end of the poly section then going inside it and making a module in for the VCA level. then I just hooked the velocity out on the midi to poly directly to the amp, it worked but not properly.

what is the simplest way to hook up a velocity sensitive oscillator or even sampler?
actually if some one would try to explain the best way to use the outs on the midi to poly primitive. it would be greatly appreciated. :)

never mind I found out that if you install a VCA before the combiner and hook the level to the velocity on the midi to poly it works ok I would like more accuracy in the lighter or lower velocity situations...
