Zoom blur out text and pics

Hi, this is very problematic to use the zoom with GUI, as pictures and also text gets out of focus if it is changing. Sometimes it seem ok but when reloaded the text is out of focus again. Seems like it do not resample the graphics right after a change in the alpha channel or text for example.

Replicate is easy:

-Open empty schematic
-drag in a readout knob
-zoom in once
-click the knob
-click outside the knob area
-text is blurring !

Please fix this asap. I need the zoom feature for a bigger GUI but blur is as i mention happen! Thanks.

The only way for the graphics to zoom smoothly at all sizes is to use the vector graphics parts. Parts which use bitmaps will always get blurred because of the anti-aliasing needed to make them bigger - zooming in on a bitmap just makes the pixels bigger, it will never give you more detail.
Also zooming within SM will not make your VST plugin GUI bigger - it is just zooming the workspace to make editing easier.

To make a bigger GUI, the only way is to make some new bitmaps for the knobs so that the original graphic is bigger - if you don't have it already, check out the free 'knobman' software, it makes doing custom GUIs much easier - lots of people here use it, so you can get plenty of help to design new knobs.

Thanks trogluddite, i know, but what makes me think this is a bug is that if you try the test and zoom on a readout knob until it gets blurred then click the knob and it comes in focus. Now clicking outside the knob, then blur again. Something is not updated right i think.

Oops, funny how it's always the simple things that my poor little brain doesn't take in!

This is a bug and an old one too.
Temp fix is to rezoom the main work area again. I always use 8x so that I dont have to deal with that but sometimes when you did need to zoom in on something or used the scroll wheel by accident, a simple doubleclick on the zoom fader in SM to take you back to default might give you a blurry gui. Zoom out and back in mostly does the trick. Sometimes I have to zoom in or out 2 times before taking it back to default. Its a weird one.
