Flip clock

Postby pall on Thu Jun 28, 2012 1:30 pm

Hi!
I want to make a flip clock, but I stuck at one point. ;) As shown, the bottom of the numbers, it not runs as it should. Can anyone solve this? Please!

I changed around the way the bottom display slid, to make it a one-way slide, then added an "under" layer to keep the previous # showing while the new # slid into place. I wanted to make the "under" layer simpler by using a bitmap sample-hold, but for some reason it kept pixelizing, so instead I had to duplicate all the bitmaps. ...Anyway, it works.

Here is a ready-made flip clock. It took me quite some time.
Good that file is still less than 2 MB.
