I really like bugs.
I used to feel they were creepy and unreliable but after I started photographing them that changed.
Bugs are incredibly fascinating. They are complex creatures with intricate systems and societies.
Several times / week I find new, to me, species and I feel a bit like Darwin or Linne'.
Its great fun tracking them too. Can be very hard work to get close enough to them to frame their eyebrows

Then there is the other part of this. The hardware. Cant just use any lens to do this.
Back on track.
I think I sort of solved it.
I set the input source of the Realtek audio to Mix and set its samplerate to 96kHz ( or 48kHz) and then set the output samplerate to the same. Now it works but oddly enough the samplerate inside SM reports 44.1kHz....
Im just glad I have sound even if its still a bit odd.
