I was able to make a “wavetable” with a resolution of 1024 floats in the range of -1..1. This is similar to the one SynthMaker has in Wave Draw OSC, but SM’s has only 256, and for some reason, the Wave Table Read removes harmonics (mentioned in the pop-up as “bandlimited”). Here are some comparisons, with mine on top:

You can see SM’s 256 Wavetable losing points at the ends of the -1..1 range, even though the source is 100% straight.

Since my version uses some interpolation, you’ll see one cycle is not 100% the same as the previous cycle; they are both rounded off at different points.
Hi-rez w/averaging: 3.2%
Hi-rez no averaging: 2.2% (sounds like has fewer harmonics, more brittle)
SM’s Wave Draw: 2.4% (more dull, but warmer)
Original request for a larger wavetable PLEASE do NOT reply here about this version! Only reply here if you want the SM devs to make an updated/new primitive.
Thread for this version YES, reply here if you have questions/comments… plz don’t mess with this page :)
KVR Saw entry says that saws go from left (-1) to right (+1)
Wikipedia's Saw info is very detailed, & has a good animated picture of a saw gaining harmonics.
